RELIQ did not begin as an overnight brand. It grew from years of making, experimenting, sharing, and connecting with people who appreciate handcrafted work.
Before introducing RELIQ to an international audience, I had already been creating and sharing my handcrafted blades and knapping work with audiences in China.
Over time, my work attracted a growing community of followers across Chinese social media platforms, where I regularly shared finished pieces, production processes, material experiments, and new designs.
Today, my accounts have reached:
Douyin — 154K+ followers
REDnote (Xiaohongshu) — 13K+ followers
Bilibili — 7.6K+ followers

I also run several private communities for craft and knapping enthusiasts, with around 4,000 members combined.

For me, these numbers are not simply about popularity. They represent years of communication with people who have followed my work, watched the process, asked questions, provided feedback, and supported the development of my craft.
From Online Creation to Offline Exhibitions
My work has also been presented at exhibitions and offline events in China.
Participating in these events gave me the opportunity to present my handcrafted pieces in person, meet collectors and craft enthusiasts, and discuss the materials, techniques, and ideas behind each piece.

At these exhibitions, visitors could see the surface textures, handcrafted details, and individual differences between pieces up close—details that are sometimes difficult to fully capture through a screen.
For me, these experiences reinforced something important:
Handmade work should be experienced as something personal, not mass-produced.
The Craft Behind RELIQ
Much of my work is influenced by knapping, a traditional shaping technique in which material is carefully worked to create distinctive flaked surfaces and forms.
I continue to experiment with different materials, colors, silhouettes, and fantasy-inspired designs while keeping the handmade process at the center of every piece.
Each RELIQ piece is individually shaped and finished by hand. Small variations in texture, form, color, and surface patterns are not defects—they are part of what makes every handcrafted piece different.
Why I Created RELIQ
After years of sharing my work with audiences in China, I wanted to introduce this craft to a wider community of collectors around the world.
That idea became RELIQ.
RELIQ is my way of combining traditional knapping-inspired craftsmanship with modern collectible design, unusual materials, gaming and fantasy influences, and my own approach to handmade art.
My goal is simple:
To create pieces that feel handmade, distinctive, and worth collecting.
Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
RELIQ is still growing internationally, but the craft behind it did not start today.
Behind every piece is a history of making, experimenting, exhibiting, sharing, and learning.
Whether you discovered RELIQ through Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Google, or our website, thank you for taking the time to explore my work.
There is much more to come.
